This step requires the DigeHealth Researcher Application. This software is available from the DigeHealth website: https://www.digehealth.ch/downloads

To extract data from the DigeHealth Device:

  • Stop Recording on the device using the myDige app or by plugging the device into a charger
  • Remove the SD card
  • Plug the SD card into a computer running the DigeHealth Researcher application

In the DigeHealth Researcher Application:

  • Navigate to the "File Management" Tab
  • The SD card inserted into your computer should be automatically detected, if it is not, try the "refresh" button.
  • If the SD card detection works:
    • press the copy button
    • The files will be transferred to your computer and shown below in the "History" section.
    • The SD card will be cleared
    • You may now remove the SD card and re-use immediately
  • If the SD card detection does not work:
    • Find the SD card in using finder
    • Drag and drop the files into the "Extractor". You may Zip the files beforehand if this is easier.
    • The files will be transferred to your computer and shown below in the "History" section.
    • You will now need to manually clear the SD card:
      • IMPORTANT: "Move to bin" does not clear the file space on the SD card.
      • Open the disk utility
      • Erase the disk
      • Reformat the drive as MS-DOS (FAT) if prompted
  • The files will begin to upload in the background on your computer. Ensure you have a good internet connection
  • When complete the uploads will be marked as completed. You will have the option to manually remove the files from your computer, but files are not automatically cleared from your computer.
  • If the upload fails at any point, press the retry button.
  • The DigeHealth Researcher software will convert .dge files to other file formats and upload to the cloud for analysis.
  • Analysis outputs will be available within a few hours after upload, depending on the quantity of data.
